Flash Flooding in Louisiana Continues

Flash Flooding is continuing in parts of Louisiana this morning with some areas receiving storm totals of over 10 inches of rain according to radar estimates.  Numerous Flash Flood Warnings remain active throughout Louisiana and as can be seen by the radar image below the areas of pink indicate areas of over 10 inches of rain since the storms began a few days ago.  This is likely some significant flooding near Lafayette Louisiana as well as the towns of Youngsville, New Iberia, Kaplan, Crowley, Lake Arthur, Church Point and many others.

Below is the radar estimates rainfall totals.  Areas of red Indicate 8 or more inches of rainfall estimated areas of pink indicate 10 or more inches of rainfall… the heaviest appears to be in the area I circled.
